Y Sŵn
Welsh film season III
Elected in 1979, the Thatcher government swiftly reneged on its manifesto promise to establish a Welsh language television channel, sparking protests in Wales. Against a backdrop of civil disobedience, the iconic politician Gwynfor Evans took huge personal risk to force a change of mind. One of the most colourful chapters of modern Welsh history told in an imaginative and unique style.
